Hello, my name is Alicia Zhou and I am currently an 8th grade （2022）student attending Scott Creek middle school. Some things I like to do in school are reading books, creating stories for assignments, and most importantly, connecting with fellow classmates and teachers. On the other hand, I like to spend my time enjoying various kinds of music, creating art projects and painting outside of school. I usually use oil paint to compose art pieces based off of scenery of nature. Furthermore, I achieved winning the 2021 Gettoknow art contest in Canada and obtained the privilege of having a picture of me hung up in my art classroom. Moreover, my painting was put up in an online gallery for people to see. At the moment, I have pass the application exams and gain a place in IB program of the high school. Through the GUM program, I would love to talk and interact with international students and create a wonderful and healthy relationship with them. Therefore, I hope you will have a thrilling, fun and happy time in our program. I am excited to meet and talk with you in the near future!
