Hello, my name is Eric Wei and I’m a grade 12 student（2020） at Moscrop Secondary School. I would consider myself a very independent student and person. In my free time, I like to go outside for a jog or a walk around the block while listening to music or podcasts. However, the thing I love most is making new long term friends with similar hobbies because there’s nothing better than knowing there’s always someone out there willing to do anything for you. That’s why I would be honored to teach international students English. To me, learning another language not only makes life much more convenient but also, it’s a way to interact with new people and it opens a door to lead you to find life-long friends. Some extracurriculars that I’ve done in the past include skiing, Tae Kwon Do, soccer, and swimming. All of which soon became my life long passion and you can see me outside of classes participating in these activities with my friends. Through GUM, I would love to improve on my leadership skills and learn to be more open while embarking on a journey with international students to discover the beauty of English.
